In 2012, I published my first book, “data mining for business intelligence: How to analyze big data,” which went on to win the 2014 RBC/Volta Award for Business Intelligence. The book detailed the process of how I used data mining as a business intelligence tool to improve the business intelligence capabilities of large financial institutions. The book was an instant bestseller and was made into a movie.
