how do you translate business rules into data model components?

This question comes up fairly frequently when I am building a new system, and I get the same response. What I have found is that the more I do, the more I see that systems are made up of different levels of self-awareness. The levels of self-awareness can be grouped together into three categories. The first is what I refer to as the “what” level. It is all of the underlying data and rules that make up a business-model component.

The first is what I refer to as the “what” level. It is all of the underlying data and rules that make up a business-model component. This is the level where I am most concerned with, because it takes my database and makes it self aware of itself. Each component in a business-model is made up of multiple levels of self-awareness, so if I want to make sure I understand the system, I have to make sure my database is well-versed with the business rules and logic. This is why I try to build systems that are simple and intuitive and clear-cut.

This is where the rules, logic, and business rules are represented. At this level, the business-model should be able to take in information and convert it into models, so I also need to have a good understanding of the internal logic of the system.

I need to put in those pieces into a model to be able to create the data model. Here it’s more about the structure of the system, but I still need to make sure the business model has the knowledge of the business rules, logic, and structure of the system.
