I’m a big fan of putting out a vision to other organizations and letting people work it. It’s easy to get bogged down in details. The vision you give to your staff, your board, and your team comes across as more abstract than the reality.

Well, as we learn in the movie, the purpose of business is to make money. And the only way to make money is to change people’s attitudes, which is the best way to change their minds. This is why leaders who put out inspiring visions tend to get noticed and promoted more than those who don’t.
